Chaseless Whisper — Version History

v2.7.358-routine-signing-evidence Latest · 2026-10-21

Jobs separates work jobs from routine ASIC Annual Review tasks. New automatic ASIC tasks receive a compact checklist; client saves no longer depend on having opened Routine Board first. Existing signing metadata is shown in Audit Trail with explicit provenance, without inventing missing link-open or email events. Completed requests display completion-email evidence separately. Microsoft sharing errors retain sanitized diagnostics; sharing policy and customer files are unchanged.

v2.7.357-signing-success-state · 2026-10-21

Successful public signing stays complete even if PDF viewer cleanup fails. Completed pages cannot resubmit or reload a consumed link on mobile rotation. New signing snapshots and default uploads use Chaseless Whisper instead of legacy folders. Existing files and pending requests are preserved. Access, consent, hash and single-use checks remain unchanged. No real signing, resend, file moves or permission changes were performed.

v2.7.356-business-activity-trail · 2026-10-21

Audit Trail uses plain business activities: signature request created, sent, opened, completed, and completion email sent. Technical PDF/render/submission stages are excluded from the activity list and export and no longer add audit writes. Existing stored records are preserved. Request creation, successful request email sending and staff signing transitions are recorded at their server boundaries; identity and delivery qualifications remain available in tooltips/export.

v2.7.355-signing-copy-feedback · 2026-10-21

New empty drafts after completed requests no longer show a blocking browser confirmation. Copy Link immediately shows preparation status, with an in-app signatory selector and manual copy fallback instead of delayed native prompts. Expanded Audit Trail refreshes on return to the window or reopening the section, with throttled/coalesced reads and count updates, not background polling. Completed documents, pending-request duplicate protection, access checks and non-rotating link issuance remain unchanged.

v2.7.354-job-audit-trail · 2026-10-21

Job Change History becomes Audit Trail, retaining existing entries alongside server-timed signing, verified client upload and browser-reported activity. New server-managed records carry per-record integrity signatures, cannot be edited/deleted through CW, and keep retained jobs from destructive deletion. Staff can view relative/exact Sydney times, filter evidence types and export history. This is not a WORM archive or identity verification for bearer links. Standing Rules: scoped authorized implementation, synthetic tests and read-only live checks; no real client submissions, mail, permissions, settings or folder changes.

v2.7.353-signing-render-recovery · 2026-10-21

All page preparation and canvas rendering failures offer the safe display-recovery path, including general PDF.js errors and unavailable canvas contexts. Source access, hashes and field validation remain separate and cannot be bypassed by recovery. Standing Rules: authorized scoped repair, synthetic regressions and read-only release checks; no real signing, resend, sharing or operational settings changes.

v2.7.352-signing-compatibility-recovery · 2026-10-21

Public signing adds official standard-library compatibility for older browsers, a non-native signing dialog fallback, distinct safe preview/access/service failure guidance, and a freshly authorized PDF download after display failures. The temporary measurement pilot accepts only allowlisted error codes and browser family/major version, not messages, URLs or document data. Staff measurement export can select a historical pilot date. Existing authorization, consent and mandatory saves remain. Standing Rules: authorized scoped repair and export support, synthetic tests and GET-only release checks; no real signing, resend, sharing or settings changes.

v2.7.350-signing-browser-compatibility · 2026-10-21

Public signing uses the same-version official PDF.js compatibility build with Promise support in both the page and PDF worker. Isolated mobile tests reproduce and prevent blank previews when newer JavaScript APIs are missing. Token checks, consent, hashes, field validation and saved-file requirements remain. Standing Rules: scoped authorized repair and deployment; no real signing, resend, mail, customer data or operational settings changes.

v2.7.349-public-preview-recovery · 2026-10-21

Private signing PDF viewing retries through the existing token-protected content reader when a direct Microsoft download fails, is blocked, has the wrong size or exceeds ten seconds. The fallback is bounded to one attempt, validates the server hash, and never forwards CW tokens to Microsoft. Current authorization, consent and mandatory saved-file checks remain. Standing Rules: scoped authorized repair, isolated fake-file regressions and read-only release checks; no real signing, resend, sharing or operational settings changes.

v2.7.341-signing-read-reduction · 2026-10-20

Signing lists return summaries instead of signature images and audit detail. Consent, document opening and submission read the selected request with current access checks. Other customer windows refresh only the completed request and its saved-file handles. Direct PDF metadata no longer requires a file facet absent from a projected response; restricted URLs, bounded sizes, PDF parsing and safe fallback remain. Standing Rules: scoped authorized changes, isolated regressions and GET-only release checks; no real signing, mail, permissions or settings changes.

v2.7.340-public-preview-fallback · 2026-10-19

Private signing links retain the authorized PDF content reader when optional direct-download metadata is unavailable or invalid. Current token, recipient, cancellation, expiry, document index, source hash and size checks remain. Standing Rules: scoped authorized repair and deployment, isolated fake-file regressions and GET-only release checks; no actual signing, mail, shared permissions or operational settings changes.

v2.7.339-signing-transfer-reduction · 2026-10-19

Isolated original snapshots upload directly to Microsoft with create-only sessions. Private-link preview prefers validated neutral Microsoft URLs unless explicitly disabled. Final signers avoid an unnecessary continuation PDF upload; identical signatures reuse PDF image objects. Both protected completion copies, current access checks and multi-signer continuation remain. Standing Rules: scoped authorized changes and deployment, fake-file tests and GET-only live checks; no real signing, mail, sharing or settings changes.

v2.7.338-cacheable-app-scripts · 2026-10-19

Existing application, window and routine scripts moved unchanged into content-hashed cacheable files, retaining classic script scope and parser order. HTML still revalidates and sensitive API cache policy is unchanged. Standing Rules: scoped authorized extraction, offline regressions and read-only release checks; no customer records, signing, mail, permissions or operational settings changes.

v2.7.337-signature-progress · 2026-10-19

Both signing modes show a prominent completed/total signature count and progress bar, with document and general field counts below. Dates never count as signatures. Existing consent, role, skipped-document and completion guards remain unchanged. Standing Rules: scoped authorized display change and release, mocked desktop/mobile regression tests and read-only live checks; no actual signing, mail, data or settings changes.

v2.7.336-traffic-signing-navigation · 2026-10-19

Revalidates unchanged application HTML, shares valid Microsoft tokens and list catalogues, and briefly caches explicitly allowlisted ordinary settings. Current customer/Job authorization remains live. Both signing modes have a translucent next-field button inside the viewer. Standing Rules: scoped authorized fix and release, isolated regressions and read-only smoke checks; no actual signing, mail, sharing or operational settings changes.

v2.7.335-private-signature-reuse · 2026-10-19

Remembers a signature in memory within the current private-link page and offers explicit per-field reuse with a preview. Separates initials, supports replacement and forgetting, and never automatically signs, consents or submits. No persistent signature storage or new API calls. Standing Rules: scoped user-authorized fix and release, synthetic PDF regressions and read-only live verification; no real signing, mail or operational changes.

v2.7.334-public-pdf-signing · 2026-10-19

Private no-login signing now renders PDF pages with assigned-position overlays, explicit drawn or typed signatures, local page numbers, document/page navigation and a visible next-field control. Compact signed links preserve legacy links and all access/expiry/nonce checks. Standing Rules: scoped user-authorized fix and release; isolated real-PDF regressions and read-only live GET checks only, no actual signing, mail, token rotation or operational settings changes.

v2.7.333-signing-token-transport · 2026-10-19

Uses a dedicated verified capability header for private signing so managed-proxy Authorization changes do not replace the recipient token. Adds an employee-only header transit comparison without exposing token values. Keeps signature, expiry, nonce, role and request validation unchanged. Standing Rules: scoped fix and release authorized; mocked regressions and read-only live checks, no actual signing, sending, token rotation or settings changes.

v2.7.332-signing-link-check · 2026-10-19

Adds an authorized read-only signing-link check with safe readiness codes and optional original-email token comparison. Applies public packet validation before issuing links and rejects missing field identifiers. Preserves generic public errors and existing access, consent and replay controls. Standing Rules: scoped work and release authorized; isolated regressions and read-only live checks only, no signing, sending, token rotation or operational settings changes.

v2.7.331-measurement-export · 2026-10-19

Retrieves measurement archives in bounded pages with encrypted continuations, progress, safe failure diagnostics and explicit retry. Marks partial reports incomplete and preserves administrator, practice and session boundaries. Standing Rules: approved scoped release and isolated regressions; read-only live verification and archive analysis, no live signing, mail, sharing or operational settings changes.

v2.7.330-signing-completion · 2026-10-19

Prepares signing documents and recipient links in bounded pairs, reuses operation-local reads and confirmed completion responses, and removes duplicate customer completion updates and screen reloads. Measures full button-to-result time. Required storage, authorization, completion checks and awaited mail remain. Standing Rules: approved scoped release and isolated regressions; no live signing, mail, sharing or operational settings changes.

v2.7.329-master-record-reuse · 2026-10-19

Reuses fresh client and Job lists during navigation and applies confirmed save responses without reloading the whole directory. Invalidates changed records across same-origin tabs, keeps freshness limits and live server authorization, and reports numeric reuse counters. Standing Rules: approved scoped release and isolated regressions; no live record edits, signing, sending or operational settings changes.

v2.7.328-measurement-precision · 2026-10-19

Correlates browser/API measurements, removes duplicate navigation counts, separates transferred and decoded bytes, and prepares exports before an explicit download. Enables the temporary pilot on both application hosts, narrows authorized customer storage reads, defers staff-only Payroll libraries and revalidates public static assets. Standing Rules: approved scoped release and isolated regressions; no live signing, sending or operational settings changes.

v2.7.327-central-measurement · 2026-10-19

Temporary automatic staff/customer traffic, timing and data-route measurements, ending 26 October at 11:00 Sydney. Archives numeric observations and encrypted customer server diagnostics privately in existing Microsoft storage; administrator Export retrieves the current day's records. Separates measurement overhead and unknown/missing data. Standing Rules: approved scoped release and mocked regressions; no live signing, sending, source-file edits or Azure settings changes.

v2.7.326-workflow-measurement · 2026-10-18

Adds opt-in local workflow traffic/timing measurements and staff-only numeric API diagnostics. Keeps URLs, documents, personal data and tokens out of reports. Unknown bytes and public/customer server internals remain unavailable rather than fabricated. Standing Rules: approved measurement-only release, mocked regression tests; no operational workflow writes, telemetry uploads or Azure settings changes.

v2.7.325-signing-links · 2026-10-18

Stores both completion PDFs in practice Microsoft storage and emails recipient-only signed-document links without reloading PDF attachments. Keeps the original attachment implementation for rollback. Separates signing footers from original page content and permits an explicit new request after completion, preserving existing records. Standing Rules: approved scoped release; mocked storage/mail regressions and local PDF rendering only, no live sharing/signing/sending or settings changes.

v2.7.324-signing-assignments · 2026-10-18

Names missing signers, distinguishes detected candidates from placed fields, and reports assignments per signer/document. Offers explicit batch confirmation for ambiguous candidates without changing other signers or overlapping fields. Refreshes field ownership displays and document counters after edits/navigation. Standing Rules: scoped approved signing correction and mocked regressions; no operational draft edits, sending or settings changes.

v2.7.323-signing-reissue-guards · 2026-10-18

Allows a new draft after verifying cancellation of the previous request and Job edit access, preserving cancelled records and original sources. Separates fields filled from signatures applied, blocks date-only requests and incomplete signing, and checks current request status before completion. Standing Rules: scoped approved fixes, mocked request/file tests; no operational signing, sending, deletion or settings changes.

v2.7.322-signing-navigation · 2026-10-16

Bulk-place detected fields for a selected signer with ambiguous ownership left for confirmation. Navigate between fields across documents, expand and restore signing screens, and detect adjacent blank Name, Date and Title spaces. Mobile consent remains scrollable with accessible actions; scaled field values stay inside their bounds. Standing Rules: approved scoped signing changes and mocked regressions; no operational signing, file writes or settings changes.

v2.7.321-signature-cell-detection · 2026-10-16

Finds signing space inside large subdivided boxes and blank cells below Signature / confirmation headers, including painted thin borders. Excludes Date, populated cells and prose. Confirmed candidates retain their cell dimensions. Standing Rules: scoped detection correction, actual local ITR and anonymous PDF.js regressions; no operational writes or settings changes.

v2.7.320-signing-draft-recovery · 2026-10-16

Also protects an offline draft with no known Microsoft base version from overwriting an existing cloud draft after reconnecting. Both copies are retained on conflict. Standing Rules: scoped recovery safety correction; no operational data or settings changes.

v2.7.319-signing-draft-workspace · 2026-10-16

Recover unsent signing documents, signers and field positions after closing. Distinguishes device-only recovery from direct Microsoft draft synchronization. File-specific navigation and conservative signature-line candidates retain manual confirmation. Standing Rules: approved scoped signing update; no agent operational writes, schema or settings changes.

v2.7.318-signing-documents · 2026-10-16

Signing document selection supports drag and drop, clearing, removing and replacing documents. Files added after returning from field placement are included correctly. Unchanged documents retain fields; changed lists reset placement after loading. Standing Rules: scoped wizard correction, mocked regression tests, no operational data or settings changes.

v2.7.317-new-job-due-preview · 2026-10-16

Reads stored Workflow preferences in object or JSON-string form without double parsing. New Job dates preview the existing due rules when client, Job type or period changes. v2.7.316-system-folders · 2026-10-16

Groups internal work-program library and Entity settings under CW System, with legacy-location compatibility and an administrator-only folder move. Existing customer, Job, upload and signature folders are unchanged. Standing Rules: scoped storage organisation; no deletion, permission expansion or settings replacement.

v2.7.315-library-item-download · 2026-10-16

Resolves missing OneDrive download annotations by the item's ID in the approved practice drive. Retains direct Microsoft downloads, URL validation, content hashes and conditional publication. Standing Rules: approved scoped connection correction; no permissions expansion or customer-data migration.

v2.7.314-library-download-validation · 2026-10-16

Accepts Microsoft item version markers from metadata or response headers, requires a version marker for active-library publication, and distinguishes missing download URLs, rejected origins and oversized files. Installed content hashes and practice/account checks remain enforced. Standing Rules: approved scoped connection correction; no permissions expansion.

v2.7.313-library-validation-status · 2026-10-16

Distinguishes library validation failures from transport failures during installation. Access checks, content hashes and conditional publication remain enforced. Standing Rules: approved scoped connection diagnostics only; no permissions expansion or customer-data changes.

v2.7.312-library-install-status · 2026-10-16

Reports safe installation step names and HTTP status codes for practice library failures without exposing Microsoft response bodies, links or tokens. Standing Rules: approved current connection work and scoped deployment. Successful browser login does not certify successful library installation.

v2.7.311-library-control-state · 2026-10-16

Hides library restore controls when no prior installed version exists, including under application button display styles, and updates the adoption button after a successful install. Standing Rules: approved scoped correction and deployment. Microsoft browser sign-in and real library installation are not certified complete by this UI correction.

v2.7.310-practice-library · 2026-10-16

Practice administrators can adopt, update and restore the current work program library in their configured OneDrive or SharePoint storage. Installed libraries are read directly with account-isolated memory caching. Existing Jobs and answers are not rewritten. The preparer can confirm the reviewed scope, with the confirmation snapshot stored in existing Job checklist response data where saving succeeds.
Print/PDF and Word outputs append the same scope confirmation as the final page without changing the A / 1 / (1) checklist hierarchy.
